It was originally known as the ‘English Opera House’ before it burnt down in 1830. The Lyceum Theatre is one of the oldest in the world, opening it’s doors in 1765. It was first performed at the Orpheum Theatre in the United States in 1997, before coming to the UK in October 1999.
